台湾与英国气候差异
Tái wān yǔ yīng guó qì hòu chā yì
在我印象中的台湾，冬天寒冷潮湿，夏天又闷又热，走出室外不到30秒就会汗流浃背，再加上我住在北部，所以冬夏温差的感受更明显;然而，当我人生第一次到英国旅游时，才发现台湾与英国的天气变化如此之大。

台湾位于欧亚大陆与太平洋之间，属于海岛型国家。由于北回归线(23.5°N)经过台湾，故北部属于副热带季风气候，南部属于热带性季风气候。冬季时，以东北季风最为盛行，造成北部一带冬季时阴雨绵绵;夏季时，由西南季风吹向台湾，为整座岛屿带来丰沛的降水量。
Tái wān wèi yú ōu yà dà lù yǔ tài píng yáng zhī jiān, shǔ yú hǎi dǎo xíng guó jiā. Yóu yú běi huí guī xiàn (23.5°N) jīng guò tái wān, gù běi bù shǔ yú fù rè dài jì fēng qì hòu, nán bù shǔ yú rè dài xìng jì fēng qì hòu. 台湾的冬天一般不会下厚重的大雪，也没有刺骨的寒风，我想对英国人来说是一个避寒的好去处;英国处于中高纬度，加上长期受北大西洋暖流、西风、整片土地被海洋环绕的影响，夏天气候凉爽宜人。

The Climate Difference between Taiwan and the UK
In my experience, it is always cold and wet in winter in Taiwan. In summer, it is so stuffy and warm that when I go outside, I start sweating like a pig in less than 30 seconds. Besides, I grew up in the north of Taiwan, so the temperature difference is more obvious between winter and summer. However, only when I visited the UK for the first time in my life did I realize that the climate there is very different from that in Taiwan.
Taiwan is an island country located between Eurasia and the Pacific Ocean. Since the Tropic of Cancer (23.5°N) passes through Taiwan, Northern and Central Taiwan is an area of subtropical monsoon climate, and tropical monsoon climate can be observed in the south. In winter, due to the northeast monsoon, it is constantly raining in the north. In summer, the southwest monsoon brings heavy rain to the entire island.
Generally, neither heavy snow nor biting winds are common features in winter in Taiwan, so I think it is an ideal place for the British to visit during the winter. At mid-high latitudes and surrounded by the ocean, plus being influenced by the North Atlantic Current and the westerlies, the UK is cool and pleasant in the summer.
Conversely, the weather during the summer in Taiwan is mostly wet and stuffy due to the plum rain season, typhoon season and afternoon thunderstorms. As a result, it is difficult for the British to adapt to the weather in summer in Taiwan.
