Tái wān de dà jiē xiǎo xiàng suí chù kě jiàn yǐn liào diàn, jī hū shì rén shǒu yī bēi yǐn liào, qí zhōng zuì shòu huān yíng de yǐn liào zhī yī jiù shì zhēn zhū nǎi chá – shì yī zhǒng jiāng nǎi chá (hóng chá +niú nǎi) yǔ zhēn zhū hùn hé bìng shǐ yòng xī guǎn hē de yǐn liào.

    Bubble Tea is from Taiwan

    22

Beverage shops can be found everywhere in Taiwan, and most people on the streets hold a drink in their hand. One of the most popular drinks is bubble milk tea, a beverage made by mixing milk tea (black tea + milk) with tapioca pearls, which are sucked into the mouth using a straw.

It is said that bubble tea is one of the symbols of Asian culture, but do you know? Bubble tea is originally from Taiwan and has been very popular since the 1980s. Also, many Taiwanese have enjoyed this beverage in their school days, so it is often considered as one of the most representative drinks in Taiwan.

    21

In recent years, due to the development of the Internet, bubble milk tea is rapidly gaining popularity overseas. Many well-known bubble milk tea shops in Taiwan have gradually expanded internationally, leading to a bubble tea trend worldwide. For example, the “Hello Taiwan Bubble Tea Festival” is celebrated in New York; more and more bubble tea shops have opened in Chinatown London, and the Japanese have invented a series of bubble milk tea-related cuisines.

As a Taiwanese living abroad, when I see foreigners fly all the way to Taiwan to learn the local production techniques and management methods, or those who got to know Taiwan because of bubble milk tea, I feel touched and very proud of my hometown, Taiwan.
