Unveiling the Enchanting World of “Flawness” at Taipei Dangdai
As a Cambridge alumna, Corpus Amy was thrilled to secure a Vernissage pass for the opening night of Taipei Dangdai exhibition. One standout highlight that captured my imagination was ‘Flawness’ by Fenko Catalysis Chamber.
This mesmerizing installation, crafted from paper, metal, and mixed media, celebrates the organic nature of paper itself. The interplay of light, fibers, and shadows accentuates the paper’s variations and reminds us of the inherent unpredictability of natural materials. Flaws, in all their authenticity, take centre stage in ‘Flawness’.
Fenko Catalysis Chamber’s ingenious creation not only embraces but also exalts the organic properties and imperfections of paper. Each process, from extrusion to folding, leaves traces that testify to the paper’s ever-changing features over time.

Táiběi dāngdài jiē kāi “xiá” de mírén shìjiè
作為劍橋校友，Corpus Amy 很高興能參與台北當代展覽開幕夜的預展。 其中，鳳嬌催化室的“瑕”是吸引我的一大亮點。
Zuòwéi jiànqiáo xiàoyǒu,Corpus Amy hěn gāoxìng néng cānyù táiběi dāngdài zhǎnlǎn kāimù yè de yùzhǎn. Qízhōng, fèng jiāo cuīhuà shì de “xiá” shì xīyǐn wǒ de yī dà liàngdiǎn.
這個裝置由紙、金屬和混合媒體製成，頌揚紙本身的有機特性。光線、纖維和陰影的相互作用突出了紙張的變化，並提醒我們天然材料固有的不可預測性。缺陷，就其真實性而言，在“缺陷”中佔據了中心位置。
Zhège zhuāngzhì yóu zhǐ, jīnshǔ hé hùnhé méitǐ zhì chéng, sòngyáng zhǐ běnshēn de yǒujī tèxìng. Guāngxiàn, xiānwéi hé yīnyǐng de xiānghù zuòyòng túchūle zhǐzhāng de biànhuà, bìng tíxǐng wǒmen tiānrán cáiliào gùyǒu de bùkě yùcè xìng. Quēxiàn, jiù qí zhēnshí xìng ér yán, zài “quēxiàn” zhōng zhànjùle zhōngxīn wèizhì.
鳳嬌催化室的巧妙創造不僅包含而且提升了紙張的有機特性和缺陷。從擠壓到折疊的每個過程都會留下痕跡，證明紙張的特性隨時間不斷變化。
Fèng jiāo cuīhuà shì de qiǎomiào chuàngzào bùjǐn bāohán érqiě tíshēngle zhǐzhāng de yǒujī tèxìng hé quēxiàn. Cóng jǐ yā dào zhédié de měi gè guòchéng dūhuì liú xià hénjī, zhèngmíng zhǐzhāng de tèxìng suí shíjiān bùduàn biànhuà.
