Many people believe that intuition is innate.

But in high-performance #talentdevelopment, true intuition is a pattern formed through long-term accumulation of experience, the classic case of ‘quantitative change leading to qualitative transformation.’

In the corporate world, we often hear comments like ‘Some people just have good sense’, or ‘Some leaders are naturally decisive.’

In reality, that decisiveness is a form of trained intuition, shaped through continuous practice and refinement.

    Amy believes:
Intuition = Quantitative Practice × Reflection

Intuition is an automatic judgment that emerges after extensive accumulation. It’s a result of measurable practice combined with conscious feedback.

When experience reaches a certain threshold, decisions are no longer made through analysis but through pattern recognition.

A skilled #negotiator knows when to stay silent and when to make an offer, not by instinct but by having been through hundreds of real scenarios.

A senior software engineer can instantly sense where a bug lies, not because of sudden inspiration but through years of debugging experience.

‘Only when the quantity runs deep enough, does quality naturally emerge.’ — Amy Tsai, Corpus Learning Facilitator
