Singapore Changi Airport: Setting the Standard for Inclusivity
Singapore’s reputation as a global hub is well-deserved. From the moment I landed, I was impressed by the organisation at the airport food court. Separate ‘halal’ and ‘non-halal’ tray collection areas, with different coloured trays, showcased a thoughtful approach to catering to diverse religious needs. This inclusivity extended to our Grab driver who, after confirming our destination and respecting our initial request for quiet service, surprised us with his enthusiasm and hospitality. He showcased his Hokkien, Mandarin, Cantonese and even some Japanese! His knowledge of local history (shared with a Taiwanese twist) made the ride a memorable experience.
